Oscar’s Biographical Note

Oscar is OWR’s Development Director. He has a wide range of development experience from computer games development to Audio DSP plugin development. His expertise is primarily in writing highly optimised code, Audio processing and 3D engine development. He has worked on a range of platforms including Mobiles, Game Consoles and PCs. In recent years he has taken an interest in using Wavelets for image compression and developed a Wavelet Difference Reduction (WDR) image compression engine. He was previously the lead developer on a team that went on to win the Home Office Scientific Development Bureau (HOSDB) ETI award 2010. During this time, he was also involved in several published papers in the field of speaker and acoustic pattern recognition.
